Am 4. Oktober ist die Besetzung der JVA in Göttingen durch die Gruppe “autonome Stadtverwaltung”genau ein Jahr her – und wie Ihr ja vielleicht mitbekommen habt, laufen so langsam die Prozesse im Zuge der Räumung an. Hier stehen die von der Repression Betroffenen vor enormen Prozesskosten: insgesamt ca. 8000 Euro.
Deswegen organisieren wir am 30.September die erste von mehreren Soliparties, damit wir die Prozesskosten gemeinsam tragen können! Neben nicer Musik wird es außerdem noch 2 Workshops geben. Die Planung läuft gemeinsam mit dem Kollektiv Flause.

Alles findet im JuZi statt – die Workshops im Ballsaal (1. Stock), die Party im Erdgeschoss. Der Innenbereich vom JuZi ist leider (noch) nicht barrierefrei: es gibt zwar eine sehr steile Rampe in das Erdgeschoss, die Klos sind allerdings nicht mit dem Rollstuhl zugänglich und der 1. Stock nur über eine Treppe erreichbar.

Tagesablauf:

– ca. 13:00: “Austausch zu Hausbesetzungen an verschiedenen Orten”

Ein Workshop zu Hausbesetzungen, mit in dem Bereich Aktiven aus den Niederlanden. Wir wollen hier zur Praxis der Hausbesetzung ins Gespräch kommen und Erfahrungen austauschen.

– ca. 17:00: “Was ist eigentlich (Gefängnis-)Abolitionismus?”

Ein Workshop, in dem (kurz!) die aktuelle Situation hinter Gittern kritisch beleuchtet wird, um dann konkrete Forderungen daraus abzuleiten. Es soll jedoch explizit nicht um eine systemerhaltende Kritik gehen, sondern auch weitergehende Fragen zur Diskussion gestellt werden: was halten wir von Gefängnissen, und welche Alternativen können wir bedenken, wenn wir nicht reformieren wollen? Und was hat das ganze mit dem Begriff Abolitionismus zu tun?

– von 22:00 – 05:00: Party im JuZi.

Damit wir Geld für die Prozesse zusammenkriegen gibt es einen Eintritt von 5 Euro (wenn Du Dir das nicht leisten kannst, sprich mit den Leuten an der Kasse). Es wird 3-4 Acts geben.

Für abgegebene Ruhestörungsschilder (zu finden etwa am Willi oder Albaniplatz) gibt es ein Freigetränk an der Bar.

On October 4th exactly one year will have passed since the occupation of the JVA in Göttingen by the group “autonomous city council” – and as you might have heard, the trials in the course of the eviction are slowly starting. Here, the people affected by repression are facing enormous legal costs: about 8000 euros in total. That’s why we’re organizing the first of several soliparties on the 30th of September, so that we can carry the legal costs together! Besides nice music, there will be 2 workshops. The planning is being done together with Kollektiv Flause.

Everything will take place in the JuZi – the workshops in the ballroom (1st floor), the party on the ground floor. Unfortunately, the interior of the Juzi is not (yet) weelchair-friendly: there is a quite steep ramp to the gound floor, but the toilets and the first floor aren’t accessible.

Here is the schedule of the day:

– approx. 1 pm: “Exchange on sqatting in different places”

A workshop on sqatting with activists from the Netherlands. We want to talk about the practice of sqatting and exchange experiences.

– 5 pm: What is (prision) abolitionism?

A workshop aubout (briefly!) critically examining the current situation behind bars and deriving concrete demands. This will explicitly not be about a system-mantaining critique, but will also put forward more far-reaching questions for discussion: What do we think of prisions and what alternatives can we consider if we don’t just want to reform? And what does all this have to do with the term abolitionism?

– From 10 pm to 5 am: Party at JuZi:

To raise money for the trials there will be an entrance fee of 5 euros (if you can’t afford that, talk to the people at the entrance desk). There will be 3-4 acts.

For handed in signs against “Ruhestörung” (“disturbance of public peace” (you can find them at Willi and Albaniplatz) you will get e free drink at the bar.
